(Hell, the hardcore punk band, Bad Brains, loved reggae and they eventually became Rastafarians.) If a person listens to a particular kind of music and they want to stick with it, that's fine by you. Your life may suck and it may not, but all that matters is that you're grateful for what you already have. Instead of listening to only one style of music, you tend to experiment to see what other bands or genres you like. I even hope that one day, you'll know everything about them. You can easily tell the difference between real emo bands such as Sunny Day Real Estate and The Promise Ring and radio emo bands such as Paramore, Fall Out Boy and Sleeping With Sirens.
